There are many fantastic and imaginative service providers with a real commitment to continually improving outcomes for the people they support. They recognise and value their staff, and are looking for new ways to unlock their gifts and talents to benefit the people using their services. Community Catalysts has worked with a number of providers to nurture the entrepreneurialism of staff and help them to turn great ideas into practical and inspiring enterprises.

how we do it

We start with a two-day workshop. The first day brings together perceptions of the changing requirements of your customers, with the skills and talents of staff members to generate some imaginative and exciting ideas for enterprise. Day two uses business approaches and disciplines to refine those ideas and begin to shape them into new enterprises, delivering services that people would really want to buy.

Once the workshop has finished we support staff members to develop their ideas and begin business planning. We also support the organisation to test the ideas further, enabling them to select and implement those that will most benefit individuals and the organisation.
