In every area of the UK there are infrastructure organisations working to support and advise third sector organisations such as charities, social enterprises and voluntary or community groups. Many of these third sector organisations offer or plan to offer social care and support services to people and communities. They need to understand what to do to ensure their service is delivered in a way that meets the personalisation agenda. Their first point of contact for advice or information on how to do this is often a third sector infrastructure organisation.
