People Doing it For Temselves phase two

A new phase of People Doing it for Themselves

29 January 2020 · Categories: Innovators Learn

We are excited to announce that the second phase of our development project, People Doing it For Themselves, is now underway! Senior Catalyst, Tess Brooks, kickstarted the next stage by recently hosting the first co-production meeting in Gloucester.

The meeting was made up of 10 people including seven people with lived experience offering their skills, knowledge and experience.

Everyone was very enthusiastic about the project and the opportunity to support disabled leaders. The decision was made to support leaders in three different areas of the Midlands, in both rural and urban environments, doing a variety of different activities with a diversity of disabled leaders. It was great to experience such a positive response to the project, the enthusiasm and creative thinking of this group really got things moving. I’m excited to see what we’ll learn and discover with this project over the next few months.
