The Buzz is coming back…and we are absolutely ‘buzzing’ about it…!
On Monday 5th April Community Catalysts will be relaunching The Buzz, where we will be sharing a new exciting activity video every day throughout April and beyond.
The new videos have been made possible through a Small Good Stuff grants scheme funded by Community Catalysts which has seen grants of up to £500 distributed to 23 small community enterprises from across the UK!
We’re very excited to share a fresh batch of brilliant, creative and accessible activity ideas to keep us all busy. The types of activities that have been funded include:
- Ballet with Kate Stanforth
- Clay modelling with Creative Active Lives
- How to make a musical instrument with Bring Me Sunshine
- Boxercise with Envolve Wellness
- Puppet making with Jamboree Arts
- Yoga with Your Home Yoga
- Cooking with Social Eyes
…and plenty more!
The Buzz provides a one stop shop for accessible, varied and fun ideas aimed at adults. When we started out in the early days of lockdown life in May 2020, we definitely didn’t anticipate that aspects of restrictions would still be felt nearly a year on and we certainly never expected the group to become what it has.
It’s been fantastic to see the Facebook group grow to a community of over 430 people. The energy from group members and the community enterprises alike has been infectious and the momentum continued to grow throughout 2020.
If you’re not on Facebook you can catch up every Friday when we post the week’s offerings at www.smallgoodstuff.co.uk/the-buzz/
We hope to see you there!
And to whet your appetite, here is a new video from Claire at Art Spa – she tells you how you can get hold of your FREE art pack!
