Photo of Emma in front of a plain background, she is smilingI’m thrilled to join the Coalition for Personalised Care (C4PC) – hosted by Community Catalysts – and I look forward to working alongside our growing list of influential and well-respected Partner organisations. I want to acknowledge the amazing progress that the Co-Chair, Executive Group, Programme Board and Partners have achieved in building such a strong network over the last decade, enabling me to step in at this exciting time of potential growth and wider impact.

Following the current C4PC plan, we will continue sourcing and providing access to interesting and relevant resources, training, and digital and in-person events to encourage the widespread uptake of Personalised Care initiatives. Together, through your active participation in our various activities, we can harness the power of the Coalition in order to influence current and future practice, planning, and policy development within the health and social care sector, ensuring that Universal Personalised Care becomes the default approach in all health and care settings.

I’m passionate about embedding co-production within organisations, and ensuring community and individual voices are heard and listened to. This drive comes from my work in many areas of social care including youth work, homelessness, addictions, mental health, criminal justice and most recently domestic abuse. I hope that my project and operational management experience in these areas will be an asset in ensuring that C4PC has a long and sustainable future.

My intention is to facilitate Coalition members to collaborate with openness, transparency, accountability and curiosity. To help me achieve this I’m pleased to say I have the support of two new dedicated team members; Communications Officer, Leah Macdonald and Karen Waites, Membership Coordinator who will join us on 10 May. Our team will continue to work closely with the Co-Chair and Executive Group to ensure the Coalition keeps co-production at the heart of everything we do.
