Ovacome is the UK’s ovarian cancer support charity. It has been providing personalised support and information to anyone affected by ovarian cancer since 1996. This includes people who have either been diagnosed with the disease or think that they might be at risk, as well as their friends and family and healthcare professionals.
Ovacome is a membership organisation, it is a strong community of many thousands of people, all working together with the aim of reducing isolation, sharing information, promoting knowledge and supporting anyone affected by ovarian cancer.
7,500 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every year. In the last year, 12,905 information booklets were requested and their online forum had more than 17,000 members.
