Micro-enterprises: Small enough to care?

Birmingham University report on a two-year research project of micro-enterprises in social care.

Micro-providers of care and support, employing 5 members of staff or fewer, have been increasing in the social care sector. The University’s research compared micro-providers with small, medium and large care providers in three areas of England. Community Catalysts were partners in the project.
