Project Manager

Community Catalysts is a social enterprise working across the UK to try to make sure that people who need care and support to live their lives can get help in ways, times and places that suit them, with real choice of attractive local options.

Since 2007 we have worked with partners in more than 90 local authority areas, keen to improve market diversity and widen community options. We help people use their talents to care for and support other local people by setting up small enterprises and ventures, creating jobs and volunteering opportunities. We also design and deliver projects that unlock community and individual assets in order to create opportunities for people who need care and support. We run the Local Area Coordination Network.

We are recruiting a Project Manager who will be responsible for the effective management of projects that help deliver the aim of Community Catalysts.

The post holder will be responsible for the effective management of a portfolio of projects. This includes recruitment and management of staff, managing relationships with contract leads and senior stakeholders in each project area, effective management and reporting of project and portfolio performance and the promotion of the work of Community Catalysts in order to secure new contracts and maximise commercial potential of current contracts.

Community Catalysts work across the UK, so the ability to travel is essential.

Finance and Admin Manager

Salary £30,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week
Flexible location with some working from the Harrogate office

The post reporting to the Director of Business Operations is responsible for budgeting, financial planning and forecasting as well as the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures, our general administration structures and the line management of the admin team.

You should be experienced in all financial procedures including budgeting, planning, risk management, preparation of management accounts, payroll and day to day processing of financial data.

Our ideal candidate will play a leading role in ensuring financial sustainability, compliance and accurate reporting and will support the Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team as they shape strategy and make key business decisions. They will also play a key role in ensuring that we have effective and efficient administration services to support the organisation and evolve these as we grow.

Community Enterprise Catalysts (Suffolk)

Salary £32,960 per annum
37.5 hours per week
2-year fixed term contract

Community Catalysts CIC is a busy, buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re extending a successful project that has been running for 2 years in partnership with Suffolk County Council and need three energetic, and imaginative people to coordinate things for us.

We are looking for three Catalysts who will lead the Suffolk Community Enterprise Project which will support local entrepreneurial people and community organisations to offer new and creative care and support options for people who need help at home and in the community. In this way we will help people to get the support they need to live the life they want.

To do this job you must:

  • Understand the world of care – but maybe feel it could do with a bit of a shake up!
  • Be a real people person – able to work well with all sorts of folks with confidence.
  • Instinctively make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
  • Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.
