Stimulating the development and growth of community enterprises that can provide a wide range of help and support for older people
This exciting project is in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and part of the Care Together in East Cambridgeshire initiative, which aims to help older people remain happy and independent in their own homes for as long as possible. Community Catalysts will work with new community enterprises, as well as advising established small groups and organisations that want to diversify or extend what they offer.
The initial focus of the project will be in East Cambridgeshire.
Find out more about the project in this podcast from Neil Whiteside at Cambridge 105 Radio, local Catalyst, Anna Tuck and Project Manager, Debbie John.
We are very happy to be working with Community Catalysts to develop care micro-enterprises in Cambridgeshire, offering more choice and flexibility to our citizens, whilst enabling opportunities for income generation in rural communities.
