Supporting local developments by increasing real choice of highly personal local care and support options.

A partnership with Powys Council initially focussing on the development of small enterprises offering homecare or help at home to older and disabled people. It aims to increase the care options for people leaving hospital and increase the opportunities for people who might take a Direct Payment.

It also aims to support more inclusive communities and keep local money local by increasing the number of jobs, particularly in rural areas.

Work is focussed in the area bordering Herefordshire and Shropshire including towns such as Knighton, Hay on Wye, Presteigne, Crickhowell and Talgarth.
