Supporting older and disabled people to have good lives at home and in their community, by helping other local people set up community enterprises offering help, support and activities in Worcestershire.
The 2-year programme, delivered in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, offers support to local people to set up and run their own small enterprises offering help for older or disabled people in their homes or through community-based opportunities.
The project will focus on the rural areas of Malvern, Wychavon, Wyre Forest and Worcester City.
Meet our Worcestershire Community Enterprise Catalyst:
Worcestershire County Council are pleased to be working with Community Catalysts to develop micro-enterprises/small businesses within the County. The micro-enterprises will provide even more choice and flexibility for people with care and support needs. The micro-enterprises will support people to live the best life they can, by helping with personal care and other activities of daily living. The development of these small and local businesses will create further job opportunities across Worcestershire, including in rural communities.
