Fair Care

My name is Rose and I’m a warm, friendly and reliable carer with over fifteen years experience.  My aim is to help and support people to stay at home safely for as long as possible and to help maintain their independence and happiness.  My career in caring began with Home Instead Senior Care where I gained a lot of experience in the community.  I also gained my NVQ |Levels 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and a City & Guilds Certificate in Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

I was nominated and reached the final five of  ‘The National Care Awards’ 2013 in this field.  Understanding and supporting families with Alzheimer’s is something I care deeply about and have taught carers and family members on how to use techniques to manage behaviours and sometimes just to give them a much needed break.

Below is a list of services I can provide and which can be tailored to suit each individual’s wishes and needs.

PERSONAL CARE – HOME FROM HOSPITAL CARE – ASSISTANCE & PROMPTING MEDICATION – LIAISING WITH CARE PROFESSIONALS – MANAGING APPOINTMENTS – SOCIAL OUTINGS – COMPANIONSHIP – MEAL PREPARATION – LIGHT HOUSEWORK – SHOPPING – COLLECTING PRESCRIPTIONS – PEG MEDICATION AND FEED

My list isn’t exclusive so please ask if there is any other support you need.  I also have my enhanced DBS, public liability insurance and business insurance. My training is also up to date.
