Hertfordshire Community Foundation are holding an online course on writing successful funding applications on Thursday 10th October, from 10:00 – 12:30.

This practical course is for those who have had some experience of writing funding applications and/or have attended a beginners’ course in writing funding applications.

Course fees are £15 for staff or volunteers from a Hertfordshire Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation, or £35 for non-VCSE organisations (but must be based in Hertfordshire and have charitable aims).

This course will look at what makes a successful application, including the main pitfalls to avoid.

You’ll learn what to include in each of the six key sections within funding applications, as well as what funders are looking for, and will have the opportunity to complete a model application form for your project/organisation.
