Angela Catley

Director of Development

After qualifying as a nurse for people with a learning disability over 30 years ago, I have had a long career in the field of health and social care – supporting people in many different ways and settings. I have also worked in roles with a training focus, helping people to develop their knowledge and skills.

More recently I designed and delivered a number of important projects which resulted in outcomes and publications of national significance. I am now the Director of Development at Community Catalysts and have worked with many individuals, community groups, local councils, statutory bodies and providers across the UK to help them to engage with and overcome the challenges of truly person-centred support, care and health services.

I frequently speak at conferences and try hard to be a strong advocate of person-centred approaches and of finding local, community driven solutions to health and care challenges.
