Community Enterprise Catalyst (Worcestershire)
All Launa ever wanted when she was growing up was to be a police officer. Eight years into her dream job, she surprised people by leaving the force and has worked in the community since in a number of very different roles, always thinking that prevention is better than cure.
She has thoroughly enjoyed her roles in Worcestershire including running community centres for disadvantaged groups and in community safety, helping to reduce the impact of crime and anti-social behaviour with creative ideas and projects.
For the past 12 years she has run her own coaching and training business, supporting people to develop their confidence and assertiveness. She really enjoys watching people grow as they learn to believe in themselves and plan for a better future. She has also worked in business development for a number of charities including the British Red Cross, The Stroke Association and PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.
Launa is known for her smile and her positive outlook which she is excited to share as a Community Enterprise Catalyst.07741 260676
