Lauren is delighted to be a part of “The Kent 4” working on this exciting project across the whole of Kent. Lauren is supporting the North Kent areas including Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley and Swale.

Lauren has a background of working within adult social care, within hospitals and the local community. She has a good understanding of systems, communities and the gaps within services. Working previously as a Case Officer for Kent County Council, she has a passion for supporting people and looking at strengths-based approaches, supporting the “Make a difference everyday” strategy, with a vision of making changes whilst working with people in Kent and its partners.

Lauren volunteers throughout the year to support raising funds for a local organisation within Kent that supports older people who have just left hospital. So far, the money raised has been used to purchase TVs, a karaoke machine, garden furniture and entertainment for the residents.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and enjoys going to a local bootcamp three times a week.
