Watch BBC Panorama tonight and next Wednesday

Panorama was allowed access to all aspects of adult social care in Somerset and has produced a powerful two-part programme highlighting the challenges facing social care and the reality for families struggling to navigate the system. We have been privileged to work with Somerset Council for more than four years, supporting our brilliant catalyst to help people in the most rural parts of the county set up enterprises that help friends and neighbours stay at home. We are really pleased that the programme shows the positive impact that community micro-enterprises are having on the lives of local people. The wonderful Jill Kemp (see part 2 next week for her interview) is a great example of a committed community micro-entrepreneur trying to make a difference in their community.

Great we need to be recognised as I know that all my clients are so happy and confident to have providers that can spend time with them instead of having agency which only gives 20 mins. Also our clients appreciate seeing the same person most days.
