what we offer

what we offer

Everything that we do connects to people who need care and support to live their lives – supporting people to get the help they need to live the life they want.  Our work is underpinned by what we call the 6 C’s

  • Choice
  • Control
  • Connection
  • Co-production
  • Contribution
  • Community

We use the 6 Cs to direct everything we do and to connect with others who do the same. In practice this means we can:

  1. Nurture very small community enterprises, groups and initiatives that care for or support people in their local area and offer them real choice. Read here for stories of what this looks like in practice
  2. Work directly with people (who might be tagged with words like ‘disabled’ ‘older’ or ‘service user’) who decide the best way for them to get the 6 Cs is to establish their own enterprise or venture
  3. Work with big organisations like councils, CCGs, charities and care providers who are passionate about the 6 Cs and want help to make them a reality
  4. Support the development of models like Shared Lives and Homeshare that have the 6 Cs at their heart

We  always combine a practical approach with an understanding of how our work links with government strategy and policy. We can do a lot with very little – just like the people we work with. We use lots of different methods and approaches to meet the needs of our customers these include: events, scoping exercises, benchmarking, workshops, writing practical guidance or toolkits, conversations, group work and project management. We look for solutions beyond what’s traditional and everything we do is tailored to individual requirements.
