Community Catalysts new programme of workshops

Community Catalysts is excited to offer a new programme of workshops and personal development activities. Aimed at health and care practitioners, people who use health or care services and their supporters the programme has a strong focus on people’s strengths, building on things that work well rather than focussing on challenges.
Workshops are positive and practical, helping people find another way to think about and approach health and care – one that puts people before systems.

One day workshops include:

More than just users of services
Understanding community options
Forging community links
Living your ‘good life’
Tackling system barriers

Personal development programmes include:

Connected, contributing citizens (individual programme)
Connected, contributing citizens (buddy programme)

Get in touch with Angela Catley to learn more or to discuss how the workshops could be tailored for creative people in your area

I thought I would offer some feed back on the training held yesterday. It was a great session allowing equal amounts of interaction, debate and thought provoking sessions. As a result of the training we are now meeting with Neighbourhoods to discuss potential placement opportunities and referrals for the C2 Skills For Employment and Motiv8 programmes. The dance syndrome was a fantastic element of the day, enjoyable, inspiring and humbling to name a few words.

Can I just formally thank you for all of your energy and expertise over the last two days.  The workshops ran brilliantly and you have managed to bring out a lot of good thinking across our managers in terms of community networking.  The workshop has achieved its aim and with you on board it made a real difference. Our Transformation lead also wanted me to pass on her thanks, she was very pleased with the overall impact of the conference and the workshops all received good feedback. Thanks again and hope to be able to work with you again in the near future.
