Lorna Easterbrook

Lorna has worked alongside adults with disabilities for over 25 years, starting as a Stage Manager taking community theatre shows into venues such as long stay hospital wards, village halls and care homes. Her focus has been adults over state pension age, and their families and friends.

An independent consultant since 2000, Lorna has previously worked for the King’s Fund, Age Concern England (now Age UK) and a Care & Repair scheme in the South Wales valleys. Her work has ranged from policy analysis, writing and editing, training and information-giving, to service design, evaluation, and community development. Lorna has an MSc in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics, is on the Board of Care & Repair England, and has a keen interest in all forms of storytelling.

Her work centres on how people needing or receiving treatment, care, or support, also access and enjoy a good quality of life.
