Hi, I’m Nick Sinclair. I am passionate about harnessing the power of community and helping people to achieve their potential. A lot of my work to date has focussed on co-producing health and wellbeing programmes with people facing homelessness, people seeking asylum and people who are refugees.
I love hearing people’s stories and bringing people together. I am a social innovator and enjoy working with groups to build on assets and address social concerns in communities.
I live in Newcastle with my wife Louise, our daughter Anna and our Tibetan Terrier Poppy. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering, travelling and even going for the odd run (when I can find the motivation).
I am absolutely delighted to be joining Community Catalysts and to be leading the Local Area Coordination Network. LAC is an exciting, values-based model that is having a major impact in the communities who have adopted it. I cannot wait to get know everyone involved, hear about their incredible work and find ways to bring it to even more communities.
