Victoria is the Communications and Marketing Officer at Community Catalysts – working to promote local projects and share successes with partners and the public. She particularly enjoys Communications because it involves continuous learning through testing out new ideas and technologies to see what works best for the audience.
Victoria has spent eight years working for national and local charities, engaging and mobilising people to become involved in lobbying campaigns and motivating disadvantaged communities to have their voices heard. She has mainly focused on the health and social care sector, for example, working to improve disability rights, eye healthcare, dental care and residential care homes.
Victoria spent six months volunteering at a European Blind charity based in Paris and volunteered for a number of years hosting intergenerational cocktail parties in a care home in Islington. She has a Master’s degree in Classics and Ancient History and enjoys dance, walking and studying French.
