Community Catalysts CIC is a busy buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re starting a new piece of work in partnership with Camphill Village Trust and need an energetic, community minded, creative person to coordinate things.
You will lead the Embracing Community Project, based at Botton Village, Danby, North Yorkshire. The project will build on excellent work already underway. It will bring together people living and working in Botton Village and those living in nearby villages and the wider surrounding area to identify local needs, agree priorities for action and ways to meet those priorities. The project will foster coproduction, creativity and connection, bringing people and resources together to address pressing local issues.
Helping people work together to improve lives and local opportunities. It will be demanding but very exciting; unchartered and totally ground-breaking; full of challenge and a huge opportunity.
To do this job you must be:
• Energetic, driven and self-motivated
• Very creative
• A real people person – able to work well with all sorts of people with confidence.
• Able to make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious
• Able to spot what people are good at and nurture it
