Michelle joined Community Catalysts in November 2023 to lead on and deliver the company communications strategy and plan.

Prior to joining Community Catalysts, she worked as communications and content manager at Iriss, a Scottish social care charity. This involved building brand equity and managing communications campaigns and projects. She also has skills and experiences in knowledge management and publishing.

Michelle is interested in the power of storytelling to change hearts and minds and enjoys trying out creative approaches and tools to make this happen.

She has worked and volunteered for charities that build the confidence and resilience of young people and adults, and values activity that improves people’s lives. Throughout the pandemic, she chaired the Board of an arts focused community charity.

Michelle lives in Ayrshire, enjoys the outdoors and getting involved in local group leisure activities. She also loves music and is proud to be part of the women’s samba drumming movement.
