Annette has worked in healthcare for a number of years, working in various roles such as care assistant in the community and residential settings. As a social worker within hospital discharge team, community teams and tier 4 acute and general adolescent units. In recent years she has worked as a life coach and trained as a cognitive behavioural therapist. Annette has most recently helped charities develop volunteer recruitment strategies to help engage volunteers in projects to raise awareness about food insecurity, health inequalities and improve health and wellbeing in the local community in her role as volunteer coordinator.
Annette is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and believes her purpose is to help people become the best version of themselves. Nature, meditation, creative writing, mindfulness practices and photography is what brings joy into Annetteās life and is what keeps her grounded.
She is looking forward to connecting with individuals and communities to make a positive impact on how people access care and support in the Wrexham area.
