Joe has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with the main focus on community development. He has supported resident lead community groups in Camden, from wellbeing walks and drama classes to cooking and knitting sessions, which all tackle issues such as poverty and social isolation.
Joe has started his own Community Garden with the aim to educate and inspire the residents about sustainable living and to promote community spirit and local produce. He also gained a Chair in the community council where he worked with different institutions and organisations from the local school, university and church to local groups such as sport teams and a variety of enterprises, to make our community a thriving and harmonised place.
Joe has volunteered in Rio De Janeiro working on community development projects, helping with a variety of projects from music to reading groups. He has also organised a variety of fundraising events, raising money for a range of charities, and has connected local businesses and groups.
