Nicola’s career spans across various sectors, including private, charity and education. She spent almost 10 years working in the finance department of a large haulage company in Teesside, before embarking on her journey working for a domestic abuse charity, which ignited her passion to support others. Nicola began her career there as an Administrator, before becoming a Support Worker, Team Leader and lastly a SafeLives Accredited Service Manager. More recently she worked as a School Business Manager for a secondary school and sixth form college, managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the school. Nicola is excited to begin her new role as Business Manager at Community Catalysts, being part of an organisation that strives to make positive change for people and communities.
In her own time Nicola enjoys staying active, recently finding a love for weight training. She also has a very lively Hungarian Vizsla called Perdi, who loves to join her when she is out running!
