Cheshire West and Chester

Supporting people to launch their own community micro-enterprises to offer care and support to people in their local communities.

This partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council, through funding from UKSPF, supports people to develop community micro-enterprises that offer increased choice of personal care in the community. We’re working alongside partners to identify and support people interested in establishing their own community micro-enterprises. The focus is on rural areas including Malpas, Farndon, Tattenhall, Tarporley and Frodsham.

As part of the project, we have developed a directory to showcase community enterprises in the local area.

“We are excited to be working with Community Catalysts to develop a broader range of  care and support services for people across Cheshire West and Chester.  This is a real opportunity for us to work creatively with communities to develop local services and local jobs to support people to live great lives.”

Charlotte Walton – Director of Adult Social Care and Health
