Community Catalysts CIC is a busy, buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re working in partnership with The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and need an energetic, and imaginative person to coordinate things for us.
We are looking for a Catalyst who will lead The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Community Micro-enterprise Project. You will find and mentor local people and community organisations, helping them to create new enterprises. Services offered by the enterprises will have a focus on wellbeing for local people, enabling more people to live active, healthy, happy lives within their community with improved choice and control.
To do this job you must:
- Understand the world of care – but maybe feel it could do with a bit of a shake up!
- Be a real people person – able to work well with all sorts of folks with confidence.
- Instinctively make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
- Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.
