Free Virtual Dementia Training
There is a free opportunity for professionals and carers to attend the virtual dementia bus experience. The experience offers the chance to gain a deeper understanding of what it feels like to live with dementia. The training uses sensory changes, such as altered vision, sound, touch, and environmental cues, to simulate the challenges that everyday tasks can present for someone with dementia. The aim is to build greater empathy, awareness and confidence among carers, professionals and anyone supporting individuals affected by dementia.
Two sessions will take place on Friday 13 March 2026 at Suffolk Family Carers, Hill View Business Park, Claydon. One at 10am to 1pm and another from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
