Community Catalysts Suffolk Hosts Lively Speed Networking Event in Melton
A great afternoon of conversation, collaboration and community spirit unfolded in Melton on Thursday 16th April, as Community Catalysts Suffolk brought together local enterprise leaders and social care practitioners for a Speed Networking event.
The Suffolk Catalysts team, Ella, Jayne, Joseph and Amy, coordinated the session, which gave community micro‑enterprise leaders the chance to highlight the services they provide and saw social work practitioners explore creative and flexible support options for people.
The event aligned with Suffolk County Council’s ambition to increase the use of direct payments to 60% of customers – a goal outlined in the council’s recent Care Market Strategy, which highlights community micro‑enterprises as a key part of the future care landscape.
It also marked the first Suffolk visit for Community Catalysts’ new CEO, Alex Fox. Alex praised the strength of the connections made and the imagination and innovation in the room.
