Here are some updates from your local Community Catalyst Heather Maling on the Rhondda project…

• 20 enterprises came together on two separate occasions in March for a thoroughly enjoyable night out. It was a great networking opportunity and the first time that many had met face-to-face. We look forward to arranging the same thing again soon!
• In March and April, Heather attended six job fairs to talk to people about joining the programme. This came at the same time when an increase in direct payment rate and the extension of the start-up grant was announced. Heather is now busy working with those who have an interest in joining, with eight people currently working towards the Doing It Right standards.
• RCT Council Communications Team are working on some animated videos of micro-enterprises and their customers, using original voices but cartoon animations. These will appear on social media soon.
