A major new funding opportunity is now open for community organisations across Bedford Borough. As part of Small Charity Week 2026, a dedicated match‑funding campaign will run from 22^nd – 29^th June, giving local charities the chance to double the donations they raise and boost the impact of their work.

The campaign offers to match funding on public donations raised between 22^nd and 29^th June (within the eligible fundraising target of between £500 and £10,000).

Funding can support either specific community projects or core organisational costs (where the wider impact and legacy of the charity’s work is demonstrated).

Please note that capital projects are not eligible.

Who can apply:

• Charities with an annual income of between £5,000 and £1 million (income must be evidenced through filed accounts or recorded Charity Commission income).
• Organisations must be supporting people and communities as part of their core mission.

Key deadline:

• Applications close on 11^th February 2026.
