Insightful Minds is an all inclusive organisation supporting anyone 18+ with a disability or long term health condition to be able to stay in work either with an employer or to run their own business rather than giving up work. We will also support those who have found themselves on benefit who are motivated to get off the benefits system and back into the workplace. They may have been on sick leave for some time or are finding it challenging to get the right income level in their business to enable them to step away from Government support.
Specialist coaching/therapy is available with Liz Almond – The Mindset Shifter. Liz works with those who are feeling stressed, anxious or depressed and who are lacking confidence in their work. They may also be having communication issues and difficulty in building relationships. She will give you confidence, and the tools and skills to succeed in the work place/your business. It’s important to enjoy your work and to have fun as well as to make money to help you feel valued. Liz will also support you to understand your true value and will work with you on any money or financial issues linked to your self worth and self esteem. She will guide you and signpost you as necessary.
Liz has her own lived experience of anxiety, depression and long term health issues and has used the Government Access to Work scheme to help her back to work. She now gains much pleasure supporting others on their journey. She is previously a teacher trainer and has skills in management, business administration, and customer service as well as over 10 years experience of running an award winning business.
Liz specialises in supporting others to gain Access to Work Government funding, with a specialist interest in Neuro Diversity and Menopause. She will help you with your application, as well as offering coaching for work place coaching strategies for neuro diversity if you receive the funding for this from Access to Work. Liz has experience of working with those with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia as well as long term mental/physical health conditions. She is non judgemental and will take time to support you to grow and to help you be seen and heard and more importantly to enjoy working and earning money.
Training in the workplace about Neurodiversity and Access to Work can be offered too.
Individuals may work privately with Liz undergoing therapy/coaching to support them to overcome stress, anxiety and depression. Lots of coaching/support/training including applying for Access to Work can be delivered online so can be delivered nationwide. Most participants would come to see Liz in Maidstone, Kent but she will do home visits if necessary.
Liz also offers holistic therapy training for those who would like to learn – Reiki, The Balance Procedure and Neuro Linguistic Programming. Money mindset is a key interest of Liz’s and she wrote the best selling book ‘Are you worth it? a spiritual guide to managing your money mindset’ in 2015. She also runs free Money Mindset workshops in Kent and free Tea and Business Start up workshops online.
Liz also offers a holistic companionship service for anyone who would like to have a companion showing them how to enjoy life and to go out to see their local area. Liz will drive you where you would like to go and support you to help you to gain confidence to do activities outside of the house and to feel better about life. She will also act as interim support for you until you find your permanent support worker (provided she has availability) if you are awarded Access to Work support worker funding.
