Cumbria CVS are hosting an ‘action for health’ meeting on 23^rd April, 10:30 – 12:00, at the Penrith Methodist Church (Wordsworth Street, Penrith, CA11 7QY).

It will be a lively and informative event, providing a great opportunity to meet with other people from third sector organisations who have an interest in all things health and care in North Cumbria. It will also be a space to hear about the latest developments in relation to health and care, and keep up-to-date with new initiatives, services, and projects as they develop.

The event will be followed by a free sandwich lunch.

To date they have confirmation of the following speakers who will be joining:

• NORTH CUMBRIA AREA – David Morris NCIC will be providing a sexual health services information update.
• NORTH CUMBRIA AREA – Sarah Penn from Cumbria CVS will be giving an update on social prescribing work.
• COUNTYWIDE – Clare Palling from Active Cumbria will be giving an update on Live Longer Better.
• SOUTH CUMBRIA – Tracy Hopkins VCSE Representative at Lancashire & South Cumbria ICB/ICS will be giving a presentation about her role representing our sector.
