Communities of Practice (CoP)

Oxfordshire Community Voluntary Action (OCVA) host Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions every six weeks online, and twice yearly in-person.

These networking events cover the entirety of Oxfordshire and offer an amazing way to connect with organisations/practitioners across the area.

Members are people who provide support, care, and advice to over-18s in the community, with the sessions bringing together social prescribers, community connectors and wellbeing workers, social workers, occupational therapists, care coordinators, community engagement staff, advice workers, resident support staff, and support workers. As well as local councils and primary care, their members come from a range of non-profit and community groups including mental and physical health charities, housing associations, community fridges and larders, advice centres, and groups working with older people, refugees, and people with physical and learning disabilities.
