Community Catalysts Relaunches Support for Community Micro Enterprises in Wrexham
Community Catalysts is pleased to announce the relaunch of dedicated support for Community Micro Enterprises (CMEs) across Wrexham, strengthening local care options and helping small, community‑based providers to thrive.
Following renewed investment and continued partnership working with Wrexham County Borough Council, Community Catalysts will once again be supporting local people to develop, grow and sustain small enterprises that offer personalised care and support within their communities.
Community Catalysts has worked in Wrexham before, supporting the development of small, community‑based care enterprises. This renewed programme builds on that earlier work and strengthens the support available to local people and providers. With growing interest from social workers and residents in more local, relationship‑based options, the return of Community Catalysts marks a positive step in expanding and strengthening this model across the county.
Expanded Support for Existing and New CMEs
Programme Catalyst Elaine Davin Jones will lead the work in Wrexham, offering a wide range of practical support, including:
Help with marketing and promotion
Networking opportunities with other local enterprises
Access to training and development
Strengthening links with social workers
Building a stronger, more connected local network
Improving the quality and visibility of CME services to increase practitioner confidence and referrals
This renewed support aims to ensure CMEs feel confident, well connected and equipped to continue delivering high‑quality, community‑based care.
A Positive Step for Local People and Local Enterprise
Community Catalysts looks forward to working with CMEs, social workers and local partners to build on the strong foundations already in place and to support the ongoing development of flexible, community‑based care in Wrexham.
