Hello, my name is Angela,
I’ve been in the care sector for over 35 years now, while also caring for my late mother for 10 years until she passed away at home in 2024. I love my job because I like working with people to help them thrive. I have a good sense of humour and I am chatty, caring, outgoing and compassionate.
In my spare time, I like to watch documentaries, go swimming, fundraising, do craft or go travelling. India is my favourite country to travel to where I’ve been able to walk up the Himalayas; however, I am also a big fan of Anglesey, I especially enjoy exploring the little coves, looking for wildlife, and learning about the shipwrecks around the coast.
The type of support I offer includes:
I have a full, clean driving licence, Care certificate, DBS and public liability insurance.
I welcome direct payment customers and a happy with the current rate.
Please send me a text message or give me a call.
Areas: Chester, Blacon, Handbridge, Tarporley, Helsby, Neston, Williston

My mother always wanted to stay in her home instead of going into care. When my mum was diagnosed with dementia we had several care agencies looking after her and it was a struggle for us to cope. But our lives suddenly changed when Angela became my mum's carer. She really understood my mum's dementia, and could see past it. She connected with my mum as a person. She would draw with her and encouraged mum's creative side, appreciating her gifts as a painter and writer.
Angela was able to get my mum up and ready for the day centre when others couldn't. She took her to magical places and mum always came home smiling, and told us about her wonderful day. Angela always knew when my mum was poorly or had a urine infection by the change in her behaviour. She would tell us right away and these early diagnoses prevented more serious illnesses from developing. We were really impressed by her ability to read my mum and understand her. She was more than a carer, she was my mum's friend.
Angela was also lovely to my dad and helped him in so many ways. It made such a huge difference to him, to all of us. She certainly improved the quality of their lives. We are so grateful to Angela for making their final years much brighter and more dignified.
