The quality of care for older people in Britain has become a problem over the past few years with the growing population. The largest problem comes when older patients have been declared medically fit for discharge from hospital but are unable to leave because of delayed discharge procedures. It is often difficult for the patient to return home, due to restrictions of medical conditions and a need for help with domiciliary issues (shopping, laundry etc.). This is where AIGB steps in. We offer a care service to prevent readmission to hospital, a “home from hospital rehabilitation service” called WOW! recovery- making your recovery at home easier.
