Hi, my name is Hayley and I have been a registered general nurse for 10 years. I have been gradually taking a step back from nursing following leaving my full time job and going on to do ad-hoc shifts, however have now decided to take the daunting plunge of walking away from nursing completely………….but, caring and helping people is engrained in my nature and gives me that warm satisfaction in life. Following research into starting my own micro care business, I met our marvellous community catalyst representative in the area and completed their programme to set up Autonomy@Home Care Services.
During my professional career I have worked in many different areas, giving me a wealth of experience and skills and I am also not phased by much in life because of this. There is nothing I love more than the thought of people being able to live comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible, which is why I decided to start my own business. I believe that it is sometimes the small things in life that can make the biggest difference when it comes to support and care and I strive to uphold all of my morals and values when it comes to providing high standards of care.
So whether it’s a little bit of help in the mornings to get you set for the day, helping with meals (I’m a dab hand when it comes to cooking), a bit of cleaning and gardening, shopping or a good old chin wag over a cuppa, then hopefully I can help. I am very experienced with medication administration, all aspects of personal care and a variety of health conditions. I also happen to be a huge animal lover, we have cats, dogs and a lizard, so I’m more than happy to help out with your furry friends.
I have an enhanced DBS on the update service and I am fully insured.
Hopefully you like what you’ve read, but it is only a snippet of me so please do get in touch for a chat and to ask questions.
