Be Heard Arts

Flexible – sessions arranged by agreement, weekdays and some weekends available.

I am a participatory sound artist and facilitator offering creative wellbeing sessions using simple making, sound, conversation and non-competitive games.

I work with adults in community settings, including older people and mixed groups.

Sessions can include simple, playful (sometimes slightly silly) games that help people relax, feel grounded, connect with others and feel more comfortable being creative.

I create relaxed and supportive spaces where people can take part using everyday objects and materials, including discarded and found materials. There is no pressure to perform or get things right. People can join at their own pace, try things out, and explore what feels comfortable.

Sessions may involve making, experimenting, or working with sound, voice or rhythm, including exploring the “voices” of materials. They can also be quiet and hands-on, depending on what suits the person or group.

Sessions are flexible and can be tailored to the people taking part, with space for their ideas, interests and pace.

I have a degree in Sound Arts and experience working in participatory sound and creative community projects, including work with older adults in community settings at Poplar HARCA, and CPD training in inclusive facilitation through theatre.
