Bournemouth Gateway Club

Availability information last updated: 1st April, 2026

Bournemouth Gateway Club is a warm, welcoming community group for adults with a learning disability. We create a safe, inclusive space where people can have fun, build friendships, and take part in activities that support confidence, wellbeing, and independence.

Our weekly club nights offer a mix of social time, games, music, arts and crafts, and themed events chosen with our members. We also run day trips, discos, sports sessions, and celebrations throughout the year. Everything we do is designed to help people feel valued, connected, and part of their local community.

The club is run by experienced staff and volunteers who understand the needs of people with a learning disability. We take the time to listen, adapt activities where needed, and make sure everyone can join in at their own pace. Families and carers tell us they appreciate our friendly approach and the consistency, safety, and joy the club brings to members’ lives.

Bournemouth Gateway Club is more than just a social group – it’s a place where people can try new things, express themselves, and feel truly included. We believe everyone should have opportunities to enjoy life, make friends, and be part of something positive.

If you’re looking for an inclusive, supportive community where adults with a learning disability can have fun and thrive, we’d love to welcome you.
