Hi my name is Steph. I have worked in care for 13 years, including roles at the NHS at the Countess of Chester Hospital, in the Hospice of the Good Shepherd and. for the last 7 years supporting people in the community.  I am enthusiastic about making a real difference in people’s lives, especially in their final days or when extra support is needed at home. I have a lot of experience with people at the end of their life, and I feel it is a gift to be able to support them at this time.

In my spare time, I am a big gym fan, and I love exercise, from body combat to walking my Shitsu Marley in Stanney Woods.

The services I offer include the below, however, if its not listed, please just ask:

  • Personal Care
  • Shopping
  • Appointments
  • Light housework and gardening
  • Companionship
  • Dog walking

My Approach

Loving care is about more than just tasks-it is about people. My approach is person -centred, meaning I listen, understand and adapt to everyone’s needs, wishes and routines. Whether it is providing personal care, offering companionship or helping around the home. My focus is always dignity, respect and promoting independence, while making every day easier and brighter.

I welcome people on a direct payment and I am happy with the rate.

Reviews of Care and Support at Home with Steph

Tara Jennings

Steph Jones is one of the most amazing careers in the business.
Steph looked after my mum for a long time at home while she was suffering from Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's. Steph was always so gentle and kind, and Mum always looked forward to her visit.
They would paint or craft together, or Steph would find ways to make mum comfortable and give her love and care,  Steph gave me mum the confidence to try new things, even when daily tasks became difficult for her.
Steph is a living Angel who provides care, comfort, and dignity. I will always be grateful for the care shown to mum when this awful disease was stealing her life.
Mum's face would light up when Steph came into the room. Even when Mum couldn't remember my name, or Steph's name,  she knew Steph brought her joy.
My mum lost her battle on the 30th of April. this year. Steph was with the family as mum passed over, supporting  us above and beyond. She is more than any role she may take on, she is genuinely compassionate kind and supportive of the people around her
Thank you, Steph, for being a Superhero in our lives,
Community Care has many flaws, however Steph made our lives better for her being in it

Since Steph has come into my mums life she has added energy and excitement. She is the perfect companion for someone living alone with dementia. Steph’s enthusiasm for her role works perfectly to stimulate my mum. Mum has been brighter and more engaged since Steph came to care for her. Would recommend Steph wholeheartedly.

Steph is lovely, she's like a breath of fresh air when she comes to my parents house. She instantly makes an impact chatting to mum & dad. She has a great sense of humour, she's friendly, professional and informative.
Very enthusiastic and gets on with whatever tasks she's given.
She's happy to do anything if it makes life easier for us.
Steph's great, I highly recommend her I think any household would benefit having Steph there.

I have Steph to sit with mum 2 afternoons a week, mum looks forward to her visits. Steph is a breath of fresh air she’s compassionate and caring and it’s so reassuring that I can now have a few hours to myself knowing mum is in such good hands.
I would recommend Steph to anyone looking for a carer for their relative or family friend.
