Nurturing companionship
My Name is Lydiah Mathai, I am a trained, passionate and dedicated carer with diverse experience. My drive to start Cerebral Healthcare was inspire by the gap in the industry. So many agencies offering services that are very regimental and do not offer personalised care where the clients miss on a lot.
My area of specialisation is supporting people with: autism, mobility challenges, learning disability, ADHD, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, psychosis, depression and anxiety, governed by UK healthcare policies and procedures.
My services are personalised and offered to people I support at their comfort; this involves general housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, companionship, attending meetings and social gathering, hobbies, accompanying on walks, access to the community by car or public transport, support with food preparation, healthy eating and drinking, overnight care and sleep in, planning and attending hospital appointments and administration.
My enterprise works in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams to achieve holistic/integrated care. The team includes myself, the people I support and their families, local authority, GP, nurses, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and psychotherapists.
