I am a self‑employed carer providing support to people in their own homes. I work independently but can collaborate with three other self‑employed carers in the area when this suits the person receiving support. I offer personal care, verbal prompts or reminders with medication, meal preparation, light housework to keep the home safe and comfortable, shopping, and social support such as trips out. I am trained to use a range of equipment including stand aids and hoists.
