About Us:

Chronically Supported CIC was founded by Claire and Ellie, two local women with lived experience of chronic illness. Our aim is to bridge gaps in care and ease pressures within the healthcare system by offering signposting, guidance with self-referrals, and a supportive community. We provide a structured support group and wider network for people living with long-term conditions in Ellesmere Port and the surrounding areas, complementing clinical care and helping individuals feel less isolated and more empowered in managing their health.

Our Support Group:

Our support group plays a crucial role for individuals coping with chronic illness, providing a safe haven where shared experiences foster understanding and empathy. Within these gatherings, attendees find companionship and encouragement, breaking the isolation that often accompanies their journeys. The collective wisdom and support of peers can lead to improved mental wellbeing, greater resilience, and enhanced coping strategies. We invite you to join us at our next meeting, where you can connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.

Details of our upcoming meetings can be found on our social media pages, or feel free to email us!

Our groups are usually ran as informal drop-in sessions so you can come and go as you please or as your conditions allow.

We will sometimes have guest speakers to talk about specialist topics such as nutrition, mental health and employment which will be advertised in advance.
