Circle-Yoga

Availability information last updated: 16th April, 2025

Hello, my name is Debbie and I am a yoga teacher.  I teach in person in a lovely little studio in South Bedfordshire.  I have also been successfully teaching online since 2020 using Zoom.  I teach Subtle Yoga, this is slow, mindful yoga particularly helpful if you have a long term health condition.  You can base yourself in a chair to practice, or the floor, even your bed if you are fatigued.  This type of yoga is also really helpful if you are a carer or a professional perhaps working in the NHS or Social Services.  The movements will help you relax deeply and give your body a chance to nurture itself.  This then helps you by allowing you to look after yourself and be better prepared to look after others.

I would like to bring yoga to a wide range of people: people who would not normally have thought they could participate in a yoga practice.  Yoga has been scientifically proven to help people with long term health conditions including asthma and diabetes.

One of my long term students said recently “I can garden because I do yoga, I can swim with my grandchildren because I do yoga”.
