Colliers Wood Shanty Singers is a unique experience of audience participation, singing traditional sea shanty songs, accompanied by accordion and violin. Chorus sheets are provided to get you singing along.
Lead singer is Peter Smith. He is from Cornwall, has sung shanties for over fifty years and one of his ancestors sailed with Lord Nelson’s Fleet
Alistair Sutherland is a professional opera singer with over ten years’ experience of working in care homes, hospitals and day centres, providing music in therapeutic settings.
Rita Hunt is a keen amateur singer and line dancer, who arranges hornpipe dances as part of our performances.
George is a multi-instrumentalist, who brings the rhythm section to life.
Ling-Chee has a background in dancing and Chinese Opera.
John Henry Falle is a young professional storyteller, actor and singer.
