Some things to think about when you're looking for care or support
Find out moreArt journaling is mixed media art (art using lots of supplies) done by you, for you, in a book. You can use any book you like; you can even make your own book. In the workshops we use a bespoke art journaling book and we provide sheets from this for every attendee that doesn’t have their own art journal. We hold the workshops within Beach Creative, Beach Street, Herne Bay.
Art is a fabulous way to help your mental health. Debs herself has suffered from periods of depression and knows how important it can be to do something that gives you a break from the stuff that is on your mind and art journaling is a perfect way to do this. Debs Painty Things ensures a fun, welcoming environment for everybody.
Workshops last 3 hours and are held once a month on Tuesday mornings 10am-1pm, Thursday afternoon 1pm-4pm and Saturday morning 10am-1pm. We provide everything you need to create a page at a cost of £20 for the session. Pre-booking is essential and a £10 deposit is required. Email Debssmithkent@gmail.com for current dates or for more information, alternatively check my Instagram @debspaintythings or Facebook Debs Painty Things for up-to-date information on workshop times and dates.
