Ask to see a provider’s portfolio

This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

Hi, I’m Daphne, founder of Direva Learning Hub.

Direva is built on the belief that everyone deserves direction and discovery in their personal and educational journey. The name Direva is a blend of the words direction and discovery, reflecting my mission to provide guidance, clarity, confidence and personal growth.

Through my experience working in schools, colleges and community settings, I have seen how individuals of all ages can struggle quietly with low confidence, self-doubt and feeling overwhelmed by life’s pressures. Whether young people navigating education or adults managing responsibilities and change, many are unsure where to turn for meaningful, understanding support.

Direva Learning Hub was created to provide a safe, supportive and accessible space where individuals feel heard, valued and empowered to move forward. I am particularly passionate about ensuring that high-quality support and coaching are available to those who may otherwise be unable to access them due to cost.

My services include ESOL support helping individuals whose first language is not English to integrate into UK life and feel more connected and independent within their local communities by removing communication barriers; and mindset coaching to help clients overcome limiting beliefs, build resilience and unlock their potential.

My vision is simple: to provide direction when someone feels lost and discovery when they are ready to grow.
